Christa Ackroyd a popular news presenter who was born on 4 May 1957 in Bradford, England went to Hanson School. She started her career with a Evening Courier in Halifax for four years. She than went on to Radio station where she became first female radio news editor. After few years of radio career she switched on to television with Yorkshire Television as news anchor. In the year 2001 she shifted to BBC and worked more than a decade now she is dismissed by BBC without compensation. Regarding her personal life she is married to Ogden Water in 1982 and couple have two daughters and a son together.
